City
Cape Town is the mother city and is in the Western Cape, South Africa. Cape Town is famous for its sun, sea, and scenery. Cape Town offers varying landscapes, found in very few other places in the world. This beautiful coastal gem offers forests, beaches, gardens, mountains, oceans, grasslands, nature reserves and Winelands. Cape Town is also home to Table Mountain, the New7Wonders (N7W) of Nature and one of the most unique floral biomes in the world, fynbos (City sightseeing South Africa). While attending the conference you will be spoilt for choice on what you can do during your free time.

Venue
Breakwater Lodge is situated alongside the V&A Waterfront and within walking distance of all the entertainment and restaurants the Waterfront has to offer, this unusual conference and function venue also gives visitors a bird’s eye view of the restored harbour, the bay, and the mountain. Safety and security
As with any other country in the world, we do not live in a crime-free zone. The risk of violent crime to visitors travelling to tourist destinations such as the V&A Waterfront is low, but all visitors should remain vigilant.
The following tips will assist you:
- Choose a hotel or resort in a safe area of the city
- Keep all personal items close to your person, including copies of identifying information
- Lock up your original forms of identification in the hotel room safe
- Consider traveling with a group or at least one other person; there is safety in numbers
- Carry a fully charged cell phone whenever you go out
- Have a list of emergency phone numbers on speed-dial
- Avoid traveling through dangerous areas of the city and only walk around during the daytime
- Keep your eyes always peeled when out in public
In the unfortunate event that you are the victim of crime, contact the South African Police Services (SAPS):
