If you need a visa to attend COMPASS, begin your application early to ensure timely processing. The visit canada page provides all the required information for applying for a Canadian visa. Check whether you need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) by visiting the Find out if you need a visa page. Most participants will require a Visitor Visa, while others from visa-exempt countries may need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
To apply, you will need a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months), a Letter of Invitation (request via the COMPASS Committee), proof of registration and payment, travel and accommodation details, and financial proof. In addition to these documents, carefully review the IRCC instructions to check if any additional documents are required.
Submit your application online through the Visitor Visa Application portal. You may need to book a biometrics appointment during this process if you have not provided biometrics in the last ten years. Track your application status at Check status online.
To request an invitation letter from the COMPASS organizer, please fill out this form. For a smooth process, double-check application forms for errors, provide strong evidence of ties to your home country, and keep copies of all submissions. We look forward to seeing you in Toronto!
