Call for Panels

Panels provide a unique forum for engaging, high-energy discussions on topics of importance to the sustainability and computing community. A typical panel runs for approximately 60 minutes and features a moderator who frames the discussion and poses key questions, alongside two to three contributors offering alternative or complementary perspectives. Panelists may come from academia, industry, or other relevant sectors, depending on the focus.

Unlike traditional paper sessions, which highlight completed research, panels focus on what’s ahead—topics on the horizon, underexplored areas, or pressing challenges that warrant broader recognition and dialogue. Strong proposals will center on interaction among panelists, and when appropriate, with the audience.

Submissions related to the conference theme are especially encouraged, though proposals on other relevant topics are also welcome. We are happy to work collaboratively with submitters to help shape compelling, thought-provoking sessions.
